Hello, Welcome!

Salvation… What a word and what a meaning it has behind it.

Before I write about any other topic, I felt that the holy spirit was leading me to write about this particular topic, as a matter a fact. Throughout all my future posts to come, I am willing to be as sincere as possible in my writings and speak only nothing but the truth.

My guess on why I was lead to write about this topic before anything else is because there are many people in this world that don’t have ANYONE to talk to them about the good news of the gospel of God.

People may be in many influences of the world, they may have been so stuck in debt with the world for years and decades that it may be hard for them to experience change, a new life, a new heart. In this world, there are so many spiritual chains that slave us, that does not let us rest day after day. There are many people that think there isn’t a way, this is my life and that’s it…..

I am here to tell you there is a way…. JESUS!

He made a way when there was NO WAY..

I was one of the people who didn’t know anything about salvation including my own family. Who could tell me about the good news when all I see around me is my family who are battling with addictions, lack of the fruits of the holy spirit, abuse one another, envy one another, being so into the world and what it offers. Throughout time, I develop my relationship with my savior, I took the little steps of faith. I have been trying to figure it all out? I had to leave all the false doctrines and traditions that I have been taught growing up in order for me to not be deceived. To detect when I’m being deceived and when I am being told the truth. At first, I had many ideas of salvation? I knew for a fact that I want to be closer to God. I knew that I wanted to be a Godly woman, a woman of God. In my heart, I knew that this woman that went off to college is not the women I wanted to be. A woman of God that serves others and is obedient and sensitive to the savior… That’s the women that I strive to be.

At first, I thought that I must simply develop a close relationship with God at the highest level in order for me to be noticed? forgiven? be called his child? I thought that I have to be so perfect? I thought of so many things trying to figure out how to simply be close to God? How to be saved? Trying to figure out where to begin? I figured that there were so many STEPS to God and it has complicated my life, even more, to believe that there are so many steps. There would be times where I would get so frustrated and upset because I thought that I was simply not good enough for God, he is so HOLY; and I was simply dirt with many defects that fail him over and over.

Salvation is simple.

We are currently living in the New Testament, which means Jesus is the reason why we have New Testament Salvation because he is the testator.

Hebrews 9:16-17 “For where a testament is, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator. For a testament is of force after men are dead: otherwise it is of no strength at all while the testator liveth.”

Meaning that the New Testament is not in effect until Jesus the testator has died and conquered death by rising again.

To repent means to turn away and go the opposite direction in your life. To turn away from all things that God hates, things that break his heart, things that are not created and blessed by him.

II Chronicles 7:14 ” If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”

Luke 15:7 “I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance.”

Mathew 3:1-2 ” In those days came John the Baptist, preaching in the wilderness of judea, And saying, repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.”

I Corinthians 15:31 ” I protest by your rejoicing which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily.

Repenting is like you laying your life, your flesh down to die. For you to not want any part of the old you at all. For you, wanting to be less of you and be more like your savior. Lay down all the unforgiveness, addictions to drugs or alcohol whatever addiction it may be, sexual immorality, the wickedness of any sin you dealt with, any harm you have caused others lay it down. Repenting is asking God for the forgiveness of all of your sins and choosing not to ever end up on that path again, REFUSING to walk down that same path once again.

To repent, all you need to do is simply have a moment with God, and talk to him, simply speak to him and tell him that you repent for everything that you have done that has broken his heart, simply saying I am SORRY. Repent in your own words, speak whatever comes out, you can speak from the heart ❤

It’s just you and God… And you can repent anywhere at any time and even daily.

John 3:5-8 Jesus answered, Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the spirit. Flesh give birth to flesh, but spirit gives birth to spirit. You should not be suprised at my saying, You must be born again. The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with every-one born of the spirit.”

Baptism is the act of being immersed in water. It represents the old you being buried with Christ. When you rise up, just like Jesus, you are a new creature, a new YOU.

Baptism is the sign of the New Testament Covenant.

Romans 6:4 ” Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as christ was raised up from dead by the glory of the father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.”

The purpose of baptism is for the remission or the undoing of sins.

Acts 2:38 ” Then peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remisssion of sins, and ye shall recieve the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Who should be baptized?

Mathew 28:19 ” Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.”

– The name of the Father is found in John 5:43 when Jesus Christ said, ” I am come in my Father’s name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive.”

– The name of the Son is found in Mathew 1:21 when the angel told Joseph, ” And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: For he shall save his people from their sins.”

– The name of the Holy Ghost is found in John 14:6 when Jesus Christ said, ” But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, Whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

Holy Ghost

When the disciples saw Jesus rose from the dead and heading to heaven to set a place for the believers. The disciples told him that basically that they all need him to guide them in their lives. Jesus told them that he will send the Holy Ghost and it will be the Comforter and give them the power and direction through Jesus Christ. In Acts chapter 2 that’s where you can find where the Holy Spirit comes at Pentecost.

John 16:7-8 “ Nevertheless I tell you the truth: it is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you. And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment.”

When we receive the Holy Ghost, that’s when God takes control of our tongue, and we begin to speak in a heavenly language as the spirit gives us the utterance or the specific words to say.

Romans 8:11 ” But if the spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell I you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his spirit that dwelleth in you.

The Holy Ghost is for whoever asks, whoever calls the Lord, those who have repented and have been baptized. It is a promise that God made to you, for anyone from all NATIONS.

Acts 2:39 ” For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the lord out God shall call.”

Oh for how I wish to have had at least someone, a long time ago to tell me about the gospel, to tell me about salvation, faith, EVERYTHING. I am so blessed to have met wonderful people, amazing leaders who spread the gospel to me and teach me about it so I can also spread the word to others. I hope this post made a positive impact on you today.

Thank You,

John 3:16 ” For God so loved the World that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

God Bless You All ❤

Spiritually Free

A little bit about myself and how Christ has set me FREE.

Growing up, I was not really raised going to church. Like I knew only a small portion of everything, to be honest. Growing up I have become accustomed to the world from the music, traditions, lifestyles and everything in between. I always wondered everything that surrounds me, how it all happen? Why am I even here? Is there a purpose? Why do certain people suffer the way they do?

The WHY in everything?

As a child, I went through many difficult times in my family that have changed me and I ended up carrying a lot of baggage. Baggage such as depression, resentment, trauma, anxiety, loneliness & many more. There were so many difficult times that I have experience along the way. There was a point where I became so ambitious over everything in my life, that I actually felt like I had the power to control everything in my life. I would make plans MY WAY and man they ended up not going so well haha.

I ended up graduating from high school and off I went to college with carrying the same baggage. In college, I got to learn more about myself; learn who is Jaelyn when there are no rules? I ended up realizing that I am quite DIFFERENT. I really did not enjoy all the college social norms, that everybody does. It was simply not me, I may try to be that person but at the end of the day, that’s not me haha. The way other people have “FUN”, it’s not fun for me. I became so lost being in a city far away from home where I don’t know anyone. Despite the loneliness, in my heart, I always felt that I am not alone. I started to develop my relationship with God, starting to know who is and why he loves us. In the city where I was in, many crazy situations happen all the time, but I found refuge in my SAVIOR

I have more wisdom than ever before; the more I walk on this journey, I discovered who I am <3. I ended up repenting for my SINS, walking away from my sins, accepting Jesus as my savor (HALLELUJAH), getting baptized in the name of JESUS, then receiving the gifts of the Holy Spirit…  just WOW!

Now I am like, aaaah I can’t go back to my old ways, I can’t go back not knowing who is my savior, not feeling this fire in me (Holy Spirit), not knowing the power of prayer, and not knowing why he loves us, not knowing his grace, his MIRACLES, miracles that I have seen right before my eyes!

Thank God, I am not lost anymore, I found Jesus. With him, I have found everything. In this journey, I am still healing. I have been set FREE, the spiritual chains that I have been a slave to have broken because of my savior ❤

I forever want to be used by the lord whether it’s praying for someone, being a messenger, a missionary, a speaker, a blogger whatever is God’s plan for me.

In this blog, I want to encourage others in their walk of faith, spread the word of God, discuss experiences that I have had to help others, relationships, lifestyle, and poetry ❤

Thank You,

God Bless!
